The Doggy Time watch app lets you log activities for your pets from your Wear OS watch.
It is a Premium feature.
Before you start
- Sign in to Doggy Time on your phone.
- Make sure you have Doggy Time Premium.
- Add at least one pet in the app on your phone.
Install the watch app
- Open the Google Play Store on your Wear OS watch.
- Search for "Doggy Time", or scroll down to the "Apps on your phone" section.
- Tap Install next to Doggy Time.
- Wait for the app to install on your watch.
- Open Doggy Time on your watch and tap Sync to connect with your phone.
Your pets now show on your watch.
Archived pets and pets that have passed away are not shown.
You can also find these steps in the app.
Tap the gear icon on the main screen, then tap Watch App.
Tap Open Play Store to go straight to Doggy Time in the Play Store.
Troubleshooting
- "A premium subscription is required to use this feature."
The watch app needs Premium.
Check that you are signed in on your phone with the account that has your subscription, then tap Sync on your watch again.
- "Connect Doggy Time app to begin."
Open Doggy Time on your phone, then tap Sync on your watch.
- "Install Doggy Time on your phone to continue."
Install Doggy Time on the phone your watch is paired with.
- "Please add a pet in the Doggy Time app."
Add a pet on your phone, then tap Sync on your watch.
- "Timed out connecting to phone." or "Error connecting to phone."
Keep your phone close to your watch, check that they are connected, then tap Sync again.
