How to edit your pet's details

You can change your pet's name, photo, species, breed, gender and birthday at any time.

Edit your pet

1. Tap your pet on the main screen.
2. Tap the three dots at the top right.
3. Tap Edit.
4. Change what you need:
   • tap the photo to choose a new one,
   • your pet's name,
   • Species and Breed (see How to select your pet's breed),
   • Gender and Neutered? or Spayed?,
   • Birthday.
5. Tap Save.

Don't see the three dots?

Only the owner of the account a pet belongs to can edit it. If someone shared the pet with you through their team, ask them to make the change.

The yellow star at the top of the screen is not about editing. It means you are on the free plan, and tapping it shows the Premium options.

Archive a pet or mark them as passed away

You can do this from the same Edit screen. See How to archive a pet or mark a pet as passed away.

Delete a pet

1. Tap your pet on the main screen.
2. Tap the three dots at the top right.
3. Tap Delete.
4. Tap Yes to confirm.

Deleting a pet also deletes all of their activities. To keep the history, archive the pet instead.

Troubleshooting

• "A Name is Required": enter a name before you tap Save.
• "The Name is Not Long Enough": the name needs at least 2 letters.
